Ingredients

1/2 cup apple cider vinegar

1/4 cup water

1 tbsp monk sugar

1 tsp salt

1 tsp black pepper

1 tsp red pepper flakes

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup ketchup (optional, for added depth and flavor)

Directions

Combine Ingredients: In a small saucepan, combine the apple cider vinegar, water, sugar, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and minced garlic.

Heat and Stir: Place the saucepan over medium heat and stir the mixture until the sugar and salt are dissolved.

Simmer: Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for about 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.

Add Ketchup (Optional): If using, add the ketchup to the sauce and stir until well combined. Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Cool and Serve: Remove the sauce from heat and let it cool before serving. You can store it in a jar or bottle in the refrigerator for up to a week.
