Cream Cheese Cookies with Currant Jelly

Ingredients

75 gram cold butter

75 gram sugar

1 package vanilla sugar

250 gram flour

100 gram cream cheese

1 egg

200 gram currant jelly

powder sugar for sprinkling 

Directions

For the dough, knead the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, flour, cream cheese, and egg into a smooth dough. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) with convection. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 3mm and cut out round shapes. Punch a small hole in half of the cookies. 

Bake the cookies for 7 minutes, then remove and let cool. For the filling, warm the jelly and spread it on the cookies. Place the cookies with holes on top and dust with powdered sugar.
