Blueberry-Spinach Smoothie

Ingredients

1 cup plain kefir or almond milk unsweetened

1/2 cup spinach leaves

1/4 cup avocado

1 tbsp almond butter

1/2 tsp ginger

2 tsp chia seed

1/4 cup blueberries


Directions

In a blender, combine 1/2 cup of milk or kefir, spinach, avocado, 1/2 tablespoon of almond butter, ginger, and 1 teaspoon of chia seeds; blend until smooth for the first layer. 


For the second layer, blend another 1/2 cup of milk or kefir with 1/2 tablespoon of almond butter and 1 teaspoon of chia seeds until smooth.


Pour the spinach mixture into a glass, followed by the blueberry layer. Garnish with additional chia seeds if desired.
