Zuppa di Pesce

This Italian Fish Stew is made with
a variety of fish and shellfish, such as mussels, clams, shrimp and fish fillets.
Ingredients
2 lb mixed fish and shellfish
2 tbsp olive oil
1 onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 stalks celery, chopped
28 oz. crushed tomato
1 cup dry white wine
1 cup fish broth
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tbsp parsley or cilantro
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp aleppo pepper
salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add onion, garlic, and celery, cook until tender
Add the fish and shellfish, and cook until lightly browned
Add crushed tomatoes, wine, fish broth, and the dry seasons.
Simmer until fish is cooked through.
Season with salt, pepper and aleppo pepper.
Serve with crusty bread or rice.
