What is traditional coleslaw made of? Traditional coleslaw is little more than shredded cabbage and a creamy dressing. This recipe adds a bit more flavor with shredded carrots and onion. The creamy dressing is made with mayonnaise, sugar, cider vinegar, salt, and pepper, for a just right tangy-sweet flavor.

Ingredients 

400 gr classic coleslaw, thinly sliced

200 gr avocado mayonnaise

200 gr sour cream

salt and pepper, to taste

1 tbsp german mustard

celery seed

2 tbsp altmeister vinegar

1/2 tsp roasted garlic powder

1/8 tsp ground cumin

Directions

In a large bowl combine cabbage and carrots. Set aside.

In a small bowl combine mayo and sour cream. Mix well, stir in vinegar, a dash of sugar, salt and pepper and celery seeds.

Pour over cabbage and toss to coat. Chill and serve.
