Here's a delicious recipe for Honey Grilled Flank Steak, perfect for a flavorful and tender meal.

Ingredients

1 flank steak (about 1.5-2 pounds)

Salt and black pepper to taste

Honey Marinade:

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp Dijon mustard

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for a bit of heat)

Directions

Prepare the Marinade:

In a bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix well.

Marinate the Steak:

Place the flank steak in a large zip-close bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the steak, ensuring it is well-coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight for maximum flavor.

Preheat the Grill:

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

Grill the Steak:

Remove the steak from the marinade and pat it dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

Place the steak on the hot grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness. Use a meat thermometer for accuracy—a medium-rare steak should be at 130-135°F (54-57°C).

Rest the Steak:

Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest on a cutting board, tented with foil, for about 5 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring a juicy steak.

Serve:

Slice the steak against the grain for maximum tenderness. Serve with your favorite sides, such as grilled vegetables or a fresh salad.
