Jerk Shrimp with Pineapple

1 -  100 gram


Ingredients 

700 gram shrimp

1 tbsp jerk seasoning

2 tbsp tamari

2 tbsp lemon juice

1/2 pineapple juice

1/2 tsp ground ginger

2 tsp liquid smoke

250 gram pineapple, sliced

1/2 tsp sea salt

1/2 tsp orange pepper

1 tsp maple syrup

80 gram lettuce

1 tbsp balsamic vinegars

2 tbsp olive oil

Directions

Add the jerk spices, soy sauce, pineapple juice, lime juice, liquid smoke, and ginger to a blender or food processor. 

Blend until the mixture is well combined. Drizzle the marinade and jerk seasoning over the shrimp. You can marinate the shrimp in the fridge if you wish, it's optional. (30 minutes to overnight)

Pan Seared Shrimp Heat a skillet on medium-high heat with olive oil. When hot, add the shrimp. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until the shrimp are opaque. Remove and cool before serving. 

Slice the pineapple in thin slices, approximately 50 gram, sprinkle with salt, orange pepper and maple syrup. Fry it over high heat in a pan, sprinkle some habanero balsamic on it.
