Pecan pie tarts are a delightful twist on the classic pecan pie, offering a perfect balance of rich, buttery pecans and sweet, gooey filling in a convenient, bite-sized form
Ingredients
15 mini fillo shells by athens
14 grams unsalted pure irish butter by kerrygold
2 tbsps monk brown sugar
1 large grade a egg
1 tbsp honest syrup maple pecans
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/8 tsp himalayan fine pink salt
50 grams pecans halves
Direction
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment or foil.
2. Place Phyllo cups on a sheet pan and set aside.
3. In a medium size bowl mix together butter and sugar. Beat with a whisk or fork until thoroughly blended.
4. Add egg, honey, vanilla, and salt mixing together.
5. Add in pecans and mix well. Using a teaspoon, fill each Phyllo cup with pecan mixture.
6. Bake in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes until done. Edges of Phyllo cups will turn golden brown when ready.
7. Let cool for 10 minutes then remove from baking sheet and serve!
