A Peanut Marinade adds a rich, nutty flavor to your meats and vegetables, making it a fantastic choice for grilling and roasting.

This Peanut Marinade will infuse your dishes with a delightful combination of nutty, savory, tangy, and slightly sweet flavors. Perfect for chicken, beef, pork, or vegetables, it’s a versatile addition to your culinary repertoire.

Ingredients

1/2 cup peanut butter (creamy or chunky, based on preference)

1/4 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup lime juice

2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar

2 tablespoons rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar

2 tablespoons sesame oil or vegetable oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

1-2 teaspoons Sriracha or other chili sauce (adjust to your heat preference)

1/4 cup coconut milk (optional, for added richness)

Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Combine Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the peanut butter, soy sauce, lime juice, honey (or brown sugar), rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and Sriracha until smooth. If using, add the coconut milk for extra creaminess.

Season: Add salt and pepper to taste, and give it another good mix.

Marinate the Meat or Vegetables: Place your choice of meat, vegetables, or tofu in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the peanut marinade over, ensuring everything is well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably longer, to allow the flavors to penetrate.

Grill or Cook: When ready to cook, remove the marinated items from the marinade and let them come to room temperature. Grill, roast, or stir-fry the marinated items until fully cooked and caramelized.
