Hazelnut Macaroons

Classic Christmas cookies here in Germany: Hazelnut Macaroons. Ideally crunchy on the outside and a bit softer on the inside.
Ingredients
3 Egg whites
250 gram sugar
250 gram hazelnuts
65 gram quark
1/8 tsp cinnamon
oblaten
Directions
Beat the egg whites until stiff.
Mix the quark, sugar, hazelnuts, and cinnamon, then fold in the egg whites.
Fold in the ground hazelnuts and fill the mixture into a piping bag with a large nozzle.
Put the nut mixture on the wafers and place a whole hazelnut on each cookie. bake at 175 degrees Celsius (approximately 350 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 10-15 minutes until the tips are lightly browned.
