Keto Chocolate Frosting

This keto buttercream frosting recipe is luscious, creamy, and absolutely decadent. You can use it to top off your favorite cakes and cupcakes or frost cookies if you'd like. The recipe is gluten free, dairy free, refined sugar free, paleo, and keto.

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups softened unsalted butter

10 tbsp unsweetened cocoa

1/2 cup swerve confections sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tbsp heavy cream

Direction

Using a hand mixer in a bowl, beat the butter for about 1 minute, until fluffy.

Beat in the cocoa powder, sweetener, and vanilla extract, starting at low speed and increasing to high once it gets incorporated. Beat for 30 seconds on high.

Beat in heavy cream. (You can add more to thin out as needed.) Start low, then beat for 30 seconds on high again, until smooth and fluffy.
