Best Cheesy Pizza Rolls

Use your favorite homemade or store bought fresh dough.

Give the rolls a little room in the pan to stretch out when they expand in the oven.

You prefer a crispier pizza crust, add 5 to 10 min.

Ingredients 

450 gr loaf pizza dough

1/2 cup pasta sauce

1 cup mozzarella, shredded

1 cup pepperoni, coarsely chopped

1/2-pound Italian sausages, cooked and crumbled

1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated

minced fresh basil, 

crushed red pepper

20 gr onions

Directions

Preheat oven to 400F.

On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough into a 16x10 rectangle. Brush with pasta sauce to within 1/2 inch of edges.

Sprinkle with 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, sausage and parmesan. Roll up jelly- roll style, starting with a long side, pinch seam to seal.

Cut into 8 slices. Place in a greased 9-inch round baking pan, cut sides down.

Bake 20min. sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese. Bake until golden brown, 5-10 min. longer. If you like serve with minced fresh basil and crushed red pepper flakes.
