Sugar free Ketchup.

Ingredients

9 ripe tomatoes

1/4 cup brown monk sugar

1/4 cup distilled white vinegar

1/4 tsp onion powder

1/4 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp allspice

1/2 tsp mustard

salt, to taste

Directions

Cut the tomatoes in half and remove the seeds. Blanch the Tomatoes in enough water. Further cover and boil for 3 min. or till the skin of tomatoes starts to separate. Cool down the tomato completely, and transfer to the blender. Puree the tomato without adding any water. Then, into a saucepan, add on the tomato puree, add in sugar, vinegar and all the spices. Mix well, cook on low for 30-40 min. or until desired consistency. Stirring occasionally. Let it cool completely and its then ready to store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 months.
